Ours is a beautiful blend of luxury teas from India’s three premiere growing districts, Assam, Darjeeling and the Nilgiris, each with their own rich histories.  Teas sourced at their respective seasonal peaks offer a cup of malt, muscatel and fragrant floral notes that open beautifully with a splash of milk.

The Star of India is a breathtaking 563.35 carat saphire formed more than 2 billion years
ago.  Weighing 112.67g and almost flawless with star shaped markings on both sides, was mined more than 300 years ago in Sri Lanka and can now be viewed in the  New York Museum of Natural History.

We think this is a stunning tea, highly recommended for English Breakfast drinkers wishing to try something nes, worth its weight in sapphires!

Hot tea brewing method:  Place 1 rounded teaspoon of tea per cup in an infuser, teiere or teapot, pour on boiling water.  Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Add milk and sugar to taste.
