Black tea is layered 5 times with rose petals to give the tea a delicate and ethereal rose character.
Scented teas have been around for a long time and are produced according to ancestral recipes. This one from China, the plantations would cut the loose blossoms from the roses bordering the tea fields and sprinkle them among the tea leaves.
Looking beautiful and accented with the refreshing flavour of roses, this is a perfect tea for a summer afternoon spent in the garden admiring your Tea Roses – or actually at any time of year.  Rose scented tea has been drunk China for millennia and in Britain it’s been a staple of garden parties since the days of Queen Victoria.
Luxury Ingredients: Black tea,  Rose petals, Natural flavors(organic)
Tea(s) From: Sri Lanka
Hot tea brewing method:  Place 1 rounded teaspoon of tea per cup in an infuser, teiere or teapot, pour on boiling water.  Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Add milk and sugar to taste.
